Learning Support Hamm

The education and participation package is intended to promote and support children, adolescents and young adults from low-income families. Among other things, the costs of extracurricular learning support (tutoring) can be covered. Please note that registration via this portal is only possible if the learning support has been approved in advance and you have the voucher from the approval authority (Municipal Job Center Hamm / Office for Social Affairs, Housing and Care).
All families with children, adolescents and young adults under the age of 25 who receive at least one of the following benefits are entitled to benefits (as of December 2024):

• Benefits from the municipal job center according to SGB II (citizen's allowance, formerly Hartz IV)
• Benefits under SGB XII from the Office for Social Affairs, Housing and Care
• Housing benefit from the Office for Social Affairs, Housing and Care
• child allowance from the family allowance office
• Benefits under the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act (persons covered by Sections 2 and 3 of the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act)

About the process:

1. Find a suitable learning support provider for your child. You can view the offers in your district or all offers .

2. Request the right offer online. Please keep the
   Coupon
   / the voucher number ready.
3. After a successful request, you will receive an email with confirmation of the request and all information for the booked offer.
4. The learning provider receives your registration request and contacts you.
5. Tutoring for your child can start after confirmation from the provider.

Please note that a separate registration is required for each subject (per subject = 1 voucher)!
